Spinwell is recruiting for a Senior Organisational Development Officer for an excellent opportunity within the public sector.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE SENIOR ORGANISATIONAL DEVELOPMENT OFFICER
Develop, design, and implement organisational culture, engagement and well-being programmes and initiatives so that the Council has well led and managed people with the right capabilities, skills, and attitudes in the right place at the right time.
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE OF THE SENIOR ORGANISATIONAL DEVELOPMENT OFFICER
- Educated to degree level or equivalent
- Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD)
- Significant post qualification experience in an HR development setting, delivering culture transformation programmes
- Delivering staff engagement and wellbeing initiatives.
- Managing and developing staff.
- Delivery of coaching programmes
- Cultural change, including models for values and behaviours
- Personality type techniques, such as Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI)
- Organisational development concepts and techniques
- Refined communications skills to support the communication and engagement with all staff across the council.
- High level skills to analyse information/data, identify trends, write reports and engagement pieces and present information clearly to a range of audiences.
- The ability to converse at ease with customers and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the post
- Flexible approach to work
- Willingness and ability to travel throughout the borough
