Spinwell is recruiting for a Technical Services Manager for a Mine Restart Project in the Central Highlands of Papua New Guinea.
This isn't a "business as usual" role—it's a career-defining restart project for a high-grade underground gold operation in the Central Highlands of PNG. As the Technical Services Manager, you won't just be managing a department; you'll be the architect of the mine's future, taking full ownership of short-to-long-term planning, stope design, and technical governance.
The Mission:
Move beyond maintenance. You are there to stabilize production, embed rigorous planning discipline, and mentor a local team of engineers in a challenging, remote environment.
What You Bring:
- The Credentials: A Mining Engineering degree and 10+ years of underground hard rock experience.
- The Grit: A proven track record in mine planning, production, and cost discipline—ideally with "turnaround" or restart exposure.
- The Tech: Proficiency in tools like Deswik or Datamine and a sharp geotechnical eye.
- The Payoff:
