Spinwell Global are currently working with a mining company who are restarting a Gold mine in the Central Highlands of PNG. They are looking for an excellent engineer to head up their mobile maintenance division on-site.
Key Responsibilities
- Fleet oversight across Epiroc drills, Derui underground LHDs/trucks, Volvo and XCMG surface equipment, and exploration drilling rigs
- Leading and mentoring a national workforce, with a focus on developing local tradespeople to international standards
- Managing Pronto ERP, spare parts inventory, and OPEX/CAPEX budgets
- Driving continuous improvement and innovative fault-finding beyond standard OEM guidelines
Requirements
- Trade certificate (Heavy Duty Fitter / Diesel Mechanic)
- 10–15 years in mobile maintenance, with 5+ years in a superintendent or senior leadership role
- Deep expertise in Epiroc, Derui, and diamond drilling equipment
- Proficiency in Pronto ERP
- Experience in remote, multicultural environments
