Spinwell is recruiting for a Project Manager for an excellent opportunity within the public sector.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE PROJECT MANAGER
The Senior Project Manager will be responsible to the Associate Programme Director for trust. They will provide project support for individual projects and workstreams within the Programme, which is a complex, high-profile inter-organisational programme.
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE OF THE PROJECT MANAGER
- Project management qualification or relevant project experience
- Knowledge and understanding of a range of issues across the NHS and NHS patient agenda
- Experience of working at a management level within the NHS or similar environment
- Demonstrable NHS/ public sector experience and knowledge
- Experience of managing complex projects that cross multiple teams and stakeholders
- Experience of service redesign and development
- A proven record in successful leadership of complex operational change while also developing and maintaining high standards of quality
- Quality focused with and innovative approach and the ability to solve complex problems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of multidisciplinary issues and commitment to multidisciplinary working
- Ability to work with and through others
- Demonstrable negotiation skills
- Commitment to self-development with ability to demonstrate in-depth knowledge ofcurrent thinking and policy affecting the health and public sector.
- Demonstrable record of successful line management of staff and proven team leadership and motivational skills.
- IT literate.
- Evidence of political awareness and sensitivity to the high profile of the Directorate and the Trust
