Contract Length: 6 months
Location: Hybrid/Mansfield and other locations travel is required 2/3 days a week onsite or a location
IR35: Inside
Pay Rate to Intermediary: £400 per day
Security Clearance: BPSS
Spinwell is recruiting for a Chartered Surveyor for an excellent opportunity within the public sector.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE CHARTERED SURVEYOR
- Acquire land and property rights and/ or interests to support operational programmes.
- Undertake property and land inspections in accordance with the MRA’s health and safety procedures, policies and safe systems of work.
- Carry out property due diligence to support acquisitions, projects and operational requirements.
- Review sites and provide timely advice and recommendations to the Principal Property Manager.
- Engage and negotiate with landowners, occupiers, agents, local authorities and other stakeholders.
- Identify, assess and help manage property related risks, issues and opportunities.
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE OF THE CHARTERED SURVEYOR
- Experience in property, land, surveying or a related discipline.
- Experience of undertaking site inspections and property related due diligence.
- Ability to identify and assess property related risks and opportunities.
- Strong communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage a varied workload and work independently.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regularly.
- Rural/Land surveying experience
- Due diligence
- Acquisition experience
- RICS Qualified
