Role: Corporate Finance Manager REF 1790504
Contract Length: 6 months
Location: Hybrid/Rugby – 2-3 days per week on site
IR35: Inside
Pay Rate to Intermediary: Negotiable
Security Clearance: BPSS
Spinwell is recruiting for a Corporate Finance Manager for an excellent opportunity within the public sector.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE CORPORATE FINANCE MANAGER
Including responsibility for and possibly doing:-
- Production of the statement of accounts
- External Audit
- VAT
- CIS returns
- Fixed Asset Register
- Accounts Payable
- Treasury Management and Banking
- Cash Flow
- Delta returns
- WGA
- Anything and everything else that needs doing
For the first couple of weeks will need to be on site in Rugby probably for at least 4 days each week – so that they can understand what is going and to meet all the relevant people
After that it will need a weekly on site presence of 2 or 3 days – depending on business need
SKILLS/EXPERIENCES OF THE CORPORATE FINANCE MANAGER
- Must be a fully Qualified Accountant and member of one of the appropriate bodies
- Must be a fully qualified accountant and be basically, a hands-on technical accountant that will also have all the responsibility for all corporate finance items
- Must be able to produce statement of accounts and be hands on - no managing people who do it
- Must have sufficient and recent experience in District and Borough Councils
- This is not a ‘just manage’ – it’s very many hands on
