Contract Length: 12 months
Location: Remote but with ad hoc travel – Possibly twice a month. Hybrid – travel to central London / Croydon / Manchester, possibly Birmingham / Liverpool

Pay Rate to Intermediary: £650 per day

Spinwell is recruiting for a Strategic Supplier Manager & Contract Lead for an excellent opportunity within the public sector.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE STRATEGIC SUPPLIER MANAGER & CONTRACT LEAD
- Lead relationships with strategic suppliers and delivery partners.
- Drive supplier performance, value and innovation.
- Shape supplier strategies, intelligence and stakeholder engagement.
- Provide expert commercial and contract management advice.
- Build and enhance contract management capability across the organisation.
- Establish assurance frameworks that strengthen contract oversight.
- Represent the organisation in strategic supplier and stakeholder engagements.
- Promote best practice and continuous improvement in supplier management
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE OF THE STRATEGIC SUPPLIER MANAGER & CONTRACT LEAD
- Strategic Supplier Relationship Management (SSRM)
- Professional Services category management
- Contract management & supplier governance
- Public sector procurement (PA23)
- Government contract management experience
- Strong stakeholder engagement & influencing
- Commercially astute with strong analytical skills
- Project delivery in fast-paced environments
- Proven leadership & collaboration skills
- eProcurement systems expertise
- Advanced Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Self-starter with a delivery-focused mindset
