Multiskilled Trade Operative - Council

Role: Multiskilled Trade Operative REF 1514131
Contract Length: Initially 3-month with potential to extend as the work is ongoing, temporary basis.
Location: Kettering and Corby
IR35: Inside
Pay Rate to Intermediary: £22 per hour

Spinwell is recruiting for a Multiskilled Trade Operative for an excellent opportunity within the public sector.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE MULTISKILLED TRADE OPERATIVE

• Perform basic maintenance tasks, including:
  • Plumbing
  • Carpentry
  • Tiling
  • Flooring
• Respond to repair requests in occupied accommodations.
• Conduct maintenance to prepare accommodations for new occupancy.
• Drive vehicles for business use and travel between locations as required.

  SKILLS/EXPERIENCE OF THE MULTISKILLED TRADE OPERATIVE

• Minimum Level 2 NVQ in Carpentry, Plumbing, and Multiskilled Trades.
• Must hold an Asbestos Awareness Certificate level 2 minimum.
• Workers with a complete employment history of Multiskilled Trade Operative preferably.
• Previous experience of working on voids and repairs.
• Previous experience of working on Council properties and Social Housing.
• Previous experience in fitting kitchens, tiling and flooring.
• Previous experience in Carpentry, Plumbing and Multiskilled Trade roles.
• Full, clean UK driving licence.
• Access to own vehicle for commuting and occasional business use.
• You will be required to drive client owned vehicles.
• Flexibility to work across both Kettering and Corby Depots.
