Spinwell is recruiting for a Vendor Management/System Integrator for an excellent opportunity within the public sector.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE VENDOR MANAGEMENT/SYSTEM INTEGRATOR
- Be the lead system integrator for the new Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) / Risk business management tool which is currently in the process of being procured.
- Conduct rigorous analysis of suppliers and supply chains, engaging with teams across client to accurately assess, monitor and mitigate risk to client from supply chain issues. Co-ordinate stakeholder groups across client, wider government and industry. Advise senior officials and Ministers as appropriate.
- Provide advice and support in relation to commercial mitigation and resolution planning for supply chain issues.
- Champion a continuous improvement culture towards internal processes for supply chain management, embracing digital enablement and Policy improvements.
- Provide support to client Supply Chain Resilience Working and Steering Groups seeking to gather timely intelligence on resilience and risk issues relating to critical defence supply chains.
- Be a regular contributor to cross- client products and meetings, including the Supply Chain Resilience Dashboard issued to senior leads, and the Supply Chain Resilience Working Group.
- Support the team leader in providing the XWH interface on supply chain resilience issues, including sector reporting to DBT, and working with the Cabinet Office Supply Chains Unit.
- Provide support in relation to Supply Chain risk and assurance. Work closely with Defence Risk & Assurance in assessing and mitigating the Defence Board supply chain risks.
- Support work to build the supply chain requirement for key client tools and systems.
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE OF THE VENDOR MANAGEMENT/SYSTEM INTEGRATOR
- Experience of implementing a supplier relationship management system
- Strong stakeholder management skills at all levels
- Ability to work cross teams/functions
- Any implementation of SRM would be useful/beneficial
- System integration/implementation
