Role: Unit 4 Data Migration Specialist
Contract Length: 3 months possibly half time – to be discussed
Location: Mostly remote but some office requirements might be required for workshops etc in Reigate, Woodhatch
IR35: Outside
Pay Rate to Intermediary: £700 per day

Spinwell is recruiting for a Unit 4 Data Migration Specialist for an excellent opportunity within the public sector.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE UNIT 4 DATA MIGRATION SPECIALIST

The Data Migration Consultant will be responsible for planning, executing, and validating the migration of data across ERP environments. The responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing and completing the end-to-end data migration process management between old and new clients.
  • Providing or creating templates, utilising validation tools, performing validation exercises and loading new data, all using Unit 4 import/export tools, to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Provide support during testing.
  • Develop and execute data migration plans during build-testing, UAT and Go-Live
  • Ensuring quality assurance and audit traceability throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Create detailed build documentation and participate in knowledge transfer sessions with internal IT support team.
  • Ensure all documentation is provide and saved to the correct project area for future reference.

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE OF THE UNIT 4 DATA MIGRATION SPECIALIST

  • Proven experience managing end-to-end data migration processes within Unit4 ERP.
  • Strong understanding of Unit4 data structures and interdependencies.
  • Experience with Unit4 import/export tools and data validation techniques.
  • Ability to perform data mapping, cleansing, and transformation.
  • Experience supporting testing phases and resolving data-related issues.
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and documentation skills.
