Role: Linux Identity Engineer
Contract Length: 6 Months with possible extension
Location: Hybrid/Edinburgh or Glasgow - Onsite collaboration when required depending on project/team requirements
IR35: Outside
Pay Rate to Intermediary: £448 per day

Spinwell is recruiting for a Linux Identity Engineer for an excellent opportunity within the public sector.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE LINUX IDENTITY ENGINEER
- Manage, maintain, and improve Linux Identity Management across the Redhat and Ubuntu estates
- Deploy and integrate the required configuration to support the Privileged Access Management initiative
- Deploy and integrate the required configuration to support the Vulnerability and Threat Management initiative
- Manage, maintain, and improve Network Access Control automation scripts for the posture assessment of the Linux estate
- Assist with development of a secure RHEL8 & 9 automated build
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE OF THE LINUX IDENTITY ENGINEER
- Unix
- RHEL 6/7/8 System administration
- Red Hat Satellite administration
- Automation
- RedHat IDM
- Programming skills
- Python3 – system programming
- Shell Scripting
- Experience applying principle of least privilege (POLP) and just-in-time access controls
- Customer focused, through proactive engagement
- Effective team working and technical decision making
- Creativity – taking new approaches to tackle problems; embracing innovation and sharing knowledge with a range of stakeholders
- Strong documentation skills
