Role: Commercial Strategy Lead REF 98662
Contract Length: 18 months
Location: Hybrid/ Greenpark, Reading minimum 2 days in the office, occasional site visit to Aldermaston or Burghfield site (1 or 2 times a month)

Pay Rate to Intermediary: Market Rate

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE COMMERCIAL STRATEGY LEAD
- Task Managing (not line managing)
- Developing sourcing strategies for 3 programmes
- Accountable for developing the sourcing strategies (the product)
- Strategy
- Contracting model
- Performance regime
- Identifying the right commercial product to go out to the commercial chain.
- How to go out to market to source
- Infrastructure
- Leading the team
- Working with procurement team
- People Management
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE OF THE COMMERCIAL STRATEGY LEAD
- Experience producing sourcing strategy
- Leading external framework commercial strategy
- Experience working with external frameworks
- Procurement delivery
- A focus on Pre-contract knowledge/experience
- Strategic thinker
- Strong stakeholder management at all levels – internal and external, written and verbal
- Procurement act
- Procurement regs
- Public sector experience
- Delivering infrastructure/construction strategies
- NEC 3 or 4, preference to 4
