Role: Business Change Manager
Contract Length: 6 months from start
Location: Hybrid/mixture between Hoburn, Kennington, Lambeth - 3 days a week on site minimum
IR35: Inside
Pay Rate to Intermediary: Market Rate
Security Clearance: CTC requested


Spinwell is recruiting for a Business Change Manager for an excellent opportunity within the public sector.


RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE BUSINESS CHANGE MANAGER 

  • Deputise for the Change lead at meetings / forums or to develop appropriate reports and dashboards when required
  • Create and manage programme wide plans for change activities - able to think strategically across multiple projects to ensure that work is effectively prioritised and delivered across a very fast moving environment. Identify and manage dependencies.
  • Lead and facilitate workshops to identify key stakeholder groups, complete Change Impact Assessments and conduct Training Needs Analysis capture. Train the trainer type experience would be very beneficial
  • Support the business change lead to identify and build relationships across client to create channels that enable feedback to flow in and out of client to ensure there is understanding of business appetite/priorities/adoption etc.
  • Work closely with the Change Analysts and PMO to ensure timely delivery of information, dashboards and reports
  • Help to develop, sponsor and promote a programme ‘brand’ with standards and consistency
  • Support the Lead to develop an appropriate and proportionate assessment for business readiness- ensuring that it is built into every go live to ensure all boxes are ticked before progressing
  • Support the Lead to identify / deal with resistance to change through a variety of change interventions
  • Write clear, concise and meaningful communications when required
  • Deliver other activities related to supporting the programme to ensure users are ready for the programme changes

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE OF THE BUSINESS CHANGE MANAGER 

  • Has scoped and delivered change and comms plans for complex programmes and can evidence this. Qualified in change methodology but crucially needs strong experience of delivering in large scale complex environments
  • Experience of landing cultural change to large numbers of widely dispersed teams and strong experience of dealing with resistance to change
  • Strong communication skills (story telling and bringing users through the change journey)
  • Strong stakeholder management skills. Able to build relationships with strong minded and change resistant stakeholders in a hierarchical culture
  • Skills in setting up and running Change Networks, Training, Change Impact Assessments etc
  • Experience at setting up business readiness assessments for large numbers and ongoing tracking until post go live period
  • Experience in using AI and creative ways to reach large number of users would be asset
  • Deputising for leadership when necessary
  • Self managing but sensitive to the political landscape of policing and how that works
  • Able to think strategically and roll sleeves up when required. Do whatever is required
