Pay Rate to Intermediary: £21.72 per hour

Spinwell is recruiting for a Paint Craft Auxiliary for an excellent opportunity within the public sector.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE PAINT CRAFT AUXILIARY

  • General workshop administration including monthly toolbox checking, keeping the workshop clean and tidy, ensuring consumables are stocked and available at point of need within the Inspection Body.
  • Point of contact for all deliveries such as stores and spares, ensuring all vouchers and paperwork are matched to items and are correct and then forwarding vouchers/paperwork to the correct team.
  • Ensure full compliance with UK Health and Safety legislation and Approved Codes of Practice.
  • Carry out Before-Use-Inspection (BUI) and cleaning of all machinery and tooling as required.
  • Ensure the timely despatch of urgent tasking to support units on operational duties worldwide.
  • Undertake any initial, annual or refresher and mandatory training regarding establishment procedures, quality, health & safety arrangements etc deemed necessary and appropriate by management to enable the post holder carry out their duties.
  • Prior to the start of any task, understand and read any relevant risk assessment, ensuring you have all required control measures in place including PPE.
  • As directed by the Team Leader, ensure tasks are carried out observing and complying with the requirements laid down in the required processes and procedures
  • Comply with all relevant policy and legislation.

     

    SKILLS/EXPERIENCE OF THE PAINT CRAFT AUXILIARY

  • Experience of working with hand tools
  • An understanding of English and Mathematics.
  • IT literate including Microsoft Office.
  • Previous experience of preparation of different substrates
