Role: Associate Commercial Lead REF 101046
Contract Length: 128 billable days
Location: Andover, Glasgow, Wyton, or Whittington (Lichfield) - 1-2 days per week onsite
IR35: Inside
Pay Rate to Intermediary: Market Rate 
Security Clearance: SC requested

Spinwell is recruiting for an Associate Commercial Lead for an excellent opportunity within the public sector.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ASSOCIATE COMMERCIAL LEAD
• Finalisation of the Commercial Strategy
• Drawing together the Statement of Requirement (SoR) and contract documents together ensuring these are aligned and coherent
• Develop and execute a dialogue strategy and plan for each Industry Partner per contract
• Support finance/quantity surveyors in the development of pricing schedules to support the delivery of the requirements (fixed, variable)
• Support finance/quantity surveyors in the development of pricing schedules based on ‘QDC like’ terms, including bottom-up costs, and allowable cost methodology
• Facilitate the page turn and red team review of the full set of contract documents
• Draw together the evaluation strategy and evaluation criteria (ensuring the golden thread from the user requirements)
• Develop the performance management regime, and contract management plan (ensuring the golden thread from the user requirements)
• Create the ITN packs
• Execute the issue of the ITN’s, manage the clarifications and evaluation process (including supporting the allowable cost assessment)
• Develop negotiation strategies and manage negotiation period for each contract
• Support the input and development of the evidence for the Information Note (and other required approvals boards)

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE OF THE ASSOCIATE COMMERCIAL LEAD
Robust and able to hit the ground running, able to work independently.
Experience of delivering commercially
Experience of working within a Defence environment
Experience of flexible negotiation and dialogue
Experience of leading and managing strategies, able to build to get into a good place.
Experience of securing value for money in a noncompetitive environment
Costs Benchmarking experience
Public Sector experience
Agile

Can deliver at pace
FM experience
CIPs or equivalent experience
Experience of using DSP /Jaggaer
