Role: Contracts Assistant (Demand Planner) REF 100968
Contract Length: 7 months
Location: Flintshire. Minimum 3 days per week onsite. First month 100% onsite until up to speed
IR35: Inside
Pay Rate to Intermediary: Market Rate

Spinwell is recruiting for a Contracts Assistant for an excellent opportunity within the public sector.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE CONTRACTS ASSISTANT
Maintain an accurate, rolling 24-month demand plan within the business management/ERP system.
Extract, cleanse, analyse, and validate demand data from multiple digital sources.
Identify and challenge data inconsistencies, missing information, and process errors.
Support monthly demand meetings, including preparation of data packs, action tracking, and record keeping.
Sales Order & Forecasting Support
Support generation and maintenance of sales orders and forecasting inputs.
Work closely with the Bid Team and Customer Service Managers to ensure changes are captured promptly and accurately.
Provide high quality data to support planning, operational scheduling, and senior decision making.
Process, Reporting & Continuous Improvement
Retrieve and analyse customer demand information for ad hoc business queries.
Help drive improvements in demand accuracy, reporting quality, and data workflows.
Support the annual Customer Confidence Index process (organising, tracking actions, data collation).
Team & Stakeholder Collaboration
Work daily with Customer Service, Bid, Finance, and Supply Planning teams.
Communicate clearly and confidently with a wide range of stakeholders.
Contribute to a positive team environment and help reduce pressure across the function during a challenging period.

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE OF THE CONTRACTS ASSISTANT
Computer literate.
Comfortable working with data and systems.
Can confidently navigate MS Office, Excel, Outlook, Teams and Shared folder.
Strong all round administration skills
High attention to detail, accuracy, and an ability to spot and resolve data anomalies.
Ability to interpret numerical/financial information and explain it clearly.
Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
Ability to manage competing deadlines and work independently with minimal supervision.
Minimum GCSE/O Level Maths & English (Grade C / 5 or above) or equivalent experience.
Flexible with a can-do attitude
Sales order processing
Reporting skills
Calm under pressure and able to manage a steady workload of admin and analysis.
Curious, organised, and willing to improve the ways we work.

Desirable:
Previous experience in demand planning, supply chain, forecasting, commercial support, or an analytical/admin role.
Ability to produce dashboards or enhance data visibility through smarter use of Excel or reporting tools.
A natural problem solver who enjoys improving processes and challenging assumptions.
Experience working with ERP systems, CRM tools, or similar data platforms.
