Role: Executive Assistant
Contract Length: 6 months
Location: Hybrid/London (2-3 days per week in office) or Manchester/Bristol based however expected to come to London as required (meetings, away days etc)

Pay Rate to Intermediary: £200 per day

Spinwell is recruiting for an Executive Assistant for an excellent opportunity within the public sector.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT
- Provide complex diary and inbox management for SCS, balancing competing priorities to maximise available time, de-conflict appointments, and rearrange schedules, sometimes at short notice.
- Prioritise emails for the SCS and provide high-quality correspondence.
- Organise meetings, visits and other engagements with both government and external stakeholders.
- Arrange travel for the SCS, ensuring all expenses policies are adhered to and an effective itinerary is provided.
- Provide secretariat support the directorates’ private offices, including preparing agendas, handling minutes and ensuring actions are followed up on.
- Maintain an electronic filing system, ensuring processes are up to date and in working order, handling sensitive information discreetly and in accordance with official guidance.
- Develop deep understanding of the SCS priorities to effectively flag emerging issues they should be aware of, and act where necessary to support.
- Assist with business support functions, e.g. managing external stakeholder communications, helping to organise team away days, supporting on recruitment and onboarding of new staff.
