Spinwell is recruiting for a Project Manager for an excellent opportunity within the public sector.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE PROJECT MANAGER

  • Lead and manage project delivery from initiation through to completion
  • Oversee day-to-day project planning, controls, and governance
  • Coordinate development of the Business Case
  • Manage budgets, resources, risks, and issues
  • Track, report, and assure project performance against milestones
  • Identify, measure, and manage benefits realisation
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders
  • Apply appropriate project management methodologies
  • Ensure effective change control and decision-making processes
  • Promote continuous improvement and personal development

    SKILLS/EXPERIENCE OF THE PROJECT MANAGER

  • Knowledge of project management practices, tools, and techniques
  • Experience in planning, scheduling, risk and issue management
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to analyse data and provide high-quality management information
  • Strong organisation, prioritisation, and decision-making capability
  • Professional credibility to work collaboratively across teams and functions
  • Essential: Entry-level Project Delivery qualification, e.g.
    • APM Project Fundamentals Qualification, or
    • Foundation-level qualification (e.g. MSP Foundation)
  • Equivalent qualifications considered
  • Qualifications must be in date and evidenced at interview
