Role: IT Engineer
Contract Length: 30-day rolling basis (Covering a period of long term sick leave)
Location: Worthing is base location but must be willing to travel across Sussex, from Chichester through to Hastings. (Own car essential)

Spinwell is recruiting for an IT Engineer for an excellent opportunity within the public sector.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE IT ENGINEER
- Resolving IT incidents and providing user support.
- Installing, configuring, and maintaining hardware, software, networks, and systems.
- Supporting Microsoft environments, including Windows, Office, Exchange, Active Directory, servers, and networking technologies.
- Assisting with more complex technical issues and supporting junior IT staff when required.
- Managing equipment, user accounts, and system changes.
- Contributing to IT projects, system improvements, and operational procedures.
- Ensuring IT infrastructure remains secure, maintained, and performing effectively.
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE OF THE IT ENGINEER
- Relevant IT qualifications and/or experience.
- Strong technical knowledge across Microsoft technologies, networking, and server environments.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to travel between sites across Sussex – access to a vehicle is essential.
Working Pattern: The previous postholder worked Monday to Wednesday, 09:00–15:00. We would ideally like to maintain this pattern; however, we can be flexible and accommodate preferred hours within 08:00–18:00.
