Spinwell is recruiting for a Resourcing Business Partner for an excellent opportunity within the public sector.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE RESOURCING BUSINESS PARTNER
In this role, you’ll have the chance to build strong relationships with stakeholders across the designated business areas you will support. You’ll work closely with them to understand their current and future requirements and will use various mechanisms to recruit the best talent the market has to offer. In doing so, you’ll directly contribute to some of the most important and exciting deliverables across Government.
You will work in a fast-growing, constantly changing environment where you own the end-to-end hiring process for vacancies commissioned from your business areas.
- Core activities are likely to include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Advising hiring managers on the best resourcing methods and supporting them to advertise their vacancies compliantly.
- Developing and owning the delivery of the resourcing plans for your allocated business areas, identifying and mitigating any resourcing risks/shortfalls;
- Coaching and influencing hiring managers on diversity and inclusion practices throughout the recruitment life cycle;
- Using exceptional communication skills to develop relationships and a sense of credibility quickly with stakeholders.
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE OF THE RESOURCING BUSINESS PARTNER
- Able to see the bigger picture and think strategically to feed into wider resourcing plans.
- Demonstrable recruitment experience on CV
- Stakeholder Management / engagement skills with strong communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment, managing multiple priorities and tight deadlines.
- Commitment to delivering a high-quality service to customers, and a focus on continuous improvement with an appetite to work with others to simplify processes and increase efficiency.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to maintain productive working relationships and influence decision making.
- Able to see the bigger picture and think strategically to feed into wider resourcing plans.
- Ability to extract and manipulate data from existing data sources to enable new analysis, and experience in using this to inform evidence-based decision making.
- Previous experience in a recruitment or HR role.
- Awareness of Civil Service recruitment principles
- Experience advertising roles
- Ability to analyse data and create market intel
