Contract Length: 1 x 9 months and 1 x 12 months
Location: Hybrid/Solihull - Onsite presence required during training

Pay Rate to Intermediary: £18.67 per hour
Spinwell is recruiting for an Accounting Technician for an excellent opportunity within the public sector.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ACCOUNTING TECHNICIAN
- Processing invoices accurately and in a timely manner
- Working with the Controcc system - training provided if required
- Liaising with care providers to resolve payment and billing queries
- Handling queries from social workers regarding payments
- Managing payments to providers delivering social care services
- Raising invoices and supporting the billing function
- Initially focusing on payments, with billing responsibilities increasing once confident
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE OF THE ACCOUNTING TECHNICIAN
- Basic Finance knowledge or experience including Finance Admin and Accounts Payable.
- Good attention to detail and organisational skills
- Strong communication skills for dealing with internal teams and external providers
- Willingness to learn and adapt
- Open to graduates or post-graduates
- Experience within a finance team or accounts payable is desirable but not essential
- 5 GCSE’s or equivalent - Grades A-C or 4-9, including Maths and English
