Spinwell is recruiting for a CID Case Officer for an excellent opportunity within the public sector.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE CID CASE OFFICER
To support investigating officers within the CID team by gathering evidence (particularly digital, audio, and visual evidence), obtaining third party material, and preparing, developing, and submitting case files for PIP1 and PIP2 investigations.
Consistently demonstrate the force values and uphold the principles of the Code of Ethics, ensuring the highest standards of professionalism, integrity, and service to the public in all aspects of the role.
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE OF THE CID CASE OFFICER
- Full UK driving licence / ability to drive in UK either on UK licence or other nationality licences
- Previous experience of providing a high-quality administration service
- Previous experience of using Microsoft Office packages, i.e. Word, Excel and competent in the use of IT packages
- Demonstrates lateral vision and a logical process for solving problems
- Communicates effectively and clearly both verbally and in writing avoiding jargon
- Able to demonstrate the values and behaviours outlined in the Force values.
- Demonstrates the ability to develop strong working relationships both inside Police and within the wider community
- Able to demonstrate the values and behaviours outlined in the Force values.
- Demonstrates an understanding of data protection issues
- Communicates and presents information clearly and accurately, both verbally and in writing avoiding jargon
- Previous experience of problem solving and decision making with ability to critically analyses material.
- Self-motivated and focused on achieving high levels of performance, working as an ambassador for Lincolnshire Police
- Demonstrates commitment in making a difference taking responsibility for own actions
- Must be prepared to be subject to Management Vetting, in line with the Force Vetting Policy, and to undertake drug screening.
