Our client, a premier global leader in end-to-end supply chain and logistics solutions, is rapidly expanding across Southeast Asia. On their behalf, we are seeking a high-caliber Group Manager – Compliance to be based in Bangkok and act as a strategic, independent business partner for the regional leadership team.
Reporting directly to the APAC Head of Compliance, you will drive the localisation of the global compliance program and protect the business against critical regulatory risks, being responsible for :-
Strategic Advisory: Partner with regional business units to provide practical, fit-for-purpose risk management advice.
Program Localisation: Implement and adapt the global compliance program across Southeast Asia, covering Anti-Bribery & Corruption (ABC), Sanctions, and Antitrust.
Data Privacy Oversight: Lead regional compliance with data protection laws, managing impact assessments and regulatory filings.
Risk & Third-Party Management: Execute periodic compliance risk assessments, audits, and robust due diligence on high-risk third-party relationships.
Training & Culture: Design and deliver impactful training to champion an ethical, compliance-first corporate culture.
Candidates will need to show the following:-
Experience: Minimum 10 years of compliance management experience within a multinational corporation (MNC). Logistics, supply chain, or maritime industry exposure is highly valued.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance, or Business. A JD, LLM, or professional compliance certification is a distinct advantage.
Expertise: Deep knowledge of regional and global compliance regulations (ABC, Sanctions, Data Privacy, and Competition laws).
Languages: Fluency in English AND either Thai or Bahasa (Mandatory) to effectively support regional stakeholders.
Key Attributes: Highly ethical, independent, and a proven change manager capable of driving new processes with minimal supervision.
