Pay Rate to Intermediary: £92.51 per 3 hour course

Spinwell is recruiting for a Casual Trainer- Driver Awareness Courses for an excellent opportunity within the public sector.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE CASUAL TRAINER- DRIVER AWARENESS COURSES
- To deliver Training, learning and development interventions and activity to Driver Offenders to a high standard using a range of media, in order to meet agreed performance and learning outcomes.
- Support with delivery of a high quality course which meets the national standard, and support design and delivery of new educational content covering safer roads messaging.
- To maintain accurate records and the timely submission of relevant data to local and national databases, ensuring compliance with General Data Protection Regulation and Management of Police information.
- Ensure learning and development activities meet national programme requirements and standards.
- Assess and evaluate learning and development activities to meet national and local quality standards and identify opportunities for continuous improvement. Provide regular feedback on the effectiveness of the activity to supervision and the Strategic Lead for Safer Roads.
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE OF THE CASUAL TRAINER- DRIVER AWARENESS COURSES
- Must be NDORS qualified
- At least one year’s experience of delivering learning or training in a one-to-one or one-to-many setting.
- A nationally recognised qualification in delivering teaching or training.
- Excellent knowledge of the Highway Code and the ability to make reference to the Highway Code during courses.
- The ability to deliver training courses as specified in the course manual, and commitment to doing so.
- The willingness to adapt delivery style to meet the needs of diverse groups of clients.
- Excellent presentation skills.
- Excellent group facilitation skills.
- Excellent coaching skills.
- The ability to work professionally with colleagues.
- The ability to reflect realistically and constructively on one’s own strengths, weaknesses and performance and to act on feedback from mentors.
- The ability to complete course administrative processes accurately.
- In addition, NRRAC trainers need knowledge/experience of advanced rider training and sufficient experience of riding so that they are viewed by clients as a credible source of riding expertise
