Spinwell is recruiting for a Senior Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst for an excellent opportunity within the public sector.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE SENIOR FINANCIAL PLANNING & ANALYSIS (FP&A) ANALYST
Lead the delivery of robust financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, performance analysis, and business insight to support effective decision-making across the organisation. The role is responsible for developing sophisticated financial models, challenging assumptions, identifying risks and opportunities and presenting data in clear and concise reporting to improve financial and operational performance.
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE OF THE SENIOR FINANCIAL PLANNING & ANALYSIS (FP&A) ANALYST
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA or equivalent) or QBE with significant experience in FP&A, business partnering, or management accounting roles.
- Extensive experience of budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling, and performance analysis.
- Advanced Excel skills including complex modelling and scenario analysis.
- Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to a range of audiences, including senior stakeholders.
- Strong presentation and storytelling skills with the ability to influence decision making.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- Experience of identifying and implementing process improvements and automation opportunities.
- Ability to coach, support, and develop junior team members.
