Testing Services Lead

Spinwell is recruiting for a Testing Services Lead for an excellent opportunity within the private sector.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE TESTING SERVICES LEAD
- Schedule and coordinate test support activities, review test artefacts, and support the timely resolution of test issues and forecast customer testing at least 6 weeks in advance.
- Act as the primary point of contact for assigned Customers during their testing activities in the UIT environment or client Test Lab.
- Lead bilateral meetings with Test Participants to discuss testing progress, blockers, new releases, firmware updates, and client plans.
- Continuous engagement with client Users to build new services and capabilities, working closely with the Test Lab Manager
- Liaise with Service Providers to facilitate environmental setup, onboarding, data provisioning, and configuration for UIT.
- Ensure timely and effective resolution of customer test issues through coordination with subject matter experts and internal teams.
- Input into regular weekly reports (e.g. progress updates, testing forecast and risk summaries) for internal and external stakeholders including senior management.
- Responsible for implementing and regularly updating user guides, processes and working instructions to ensure that they remain current and effective. This includes creation and maintenance of Customer Journeys, identifying opportunities to improve Customer experience.
- Supporting innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement for overall Testing Services.
- Act as Deputy for the Senior Test Manager when required.
- Support the development and ongoing maintenance of new services integrated into the Testing Service offering.
- Manage any outward communication to customers and liaise with service providers for technical communication.
- Responsible for updating trackers and assurance of evidence of testing.
- Accountable for filing of customer test artefacts and emails for auditing purposes
- Responsible for effective time management and managing multiple customer queries.
- Supporting change request boards for any upcoming change in the user integration test environment and managing outward communications
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE OF THE TESTING SERVICES LEAD
- A candidate who can manage the delivery of the client’s Testing Services to meet the regulatory requirements and the needs of client Users.
- Strong test and customer engagement skills, with experience in managing testing-related issues, defining testing scopes, and resolving general customer concerns affecting their user testing activities.
- Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Engage with internal and external stakeholder groups to ensure the Customer Testing Services Team delivers a quality testing service to client Users.
- Prepare and deliver presentations and supporting materials to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Work in collaboration with other team members and encourage well-being within the Testing Services team.
- Proactively look for opportunities to improve service to Customers and look for cost reduction.
- Support readiness and embed new and revised releases and processes delivered by test delivery team into UIT.
- A willingness to share knowledge and experience with other members of the Testing Services team.
- Familiar with process improvement techniques
